Canberra is the capital city of Australia and it is more than a city that is just filled with civic servants. It is one of the most beautiful cities of Australia that is mostly ignored. It has many wonderful inland hills and the city is situated between the ski slopes of Brindabella National Park and the beaches on the East coast. This wonderful gallery is located on the King Edward Terrace, Parkes. The National Portrait Gallery displays as many as 400 portraits of the most important figures of Australian history. This is the most important gallery of Australia housing some of the most important national portrait collection of Australia. Many temporary exhibitions can be found in the vicinity of the National Portarait Gallery from time to time. The observation gallery at the Mint allows you to take a look at the coin production factory and Titan which is the world’s strongest robot. You can take a look at the rare and old coins in the National Coin Collection which is placed in a secure way in the vaults of this Mint. National Zoo and Aquarium

The National Zoo & Aquarium is a combination of a zoo and aquarium as the name suggests. It is owned by a privte firm and the only such zoo and aquarium in Australia. This 2 in 1 park attracts a lot of tourist. This place occupies an area of 7 hectares and is almost just 5 minutes from the center of Canberra city. There are many native and exotic animals in this zoo. It also houses the largest inland and saltwater tank in Australia and can entertain people of all age groups. You can casually stroll through the park and spend a day with your family here. Take a look at the animals here and snap some pictures.
